Tridle

About Tridle

In the community of puzzle game lovers, nyt strands is one of the most reputable names with millions of players daily. However, the game can sometimes be solved within a few tries, which makes professional players find it quite boring. For this reason, Tridle, which is also a word-guessing game like Wordle but is harder, has been released to the public.

You can clearly see from the game's name that this version still contains the signature "dle" ending of the original Wordle game. Yet, the "Tri" part represents "triple."

The developer wants to imply that this variant will be three times more difficult than the Wordle game. In particular, players will have to deal with three secret words in the Tridle game, two more words than in Wordle.

Playing The Tridle Game

Unlike the Wordle game, in which players will make a word guess in a 5x6 grid, the Tridle comes with three 5x8 grids. By that, we mean you will have eight tries to figure out three 5-letter English words. Your guesses must be valid English words and correctly typed in the grid.

Be careful because all 8 allowed tries will be applied to all the secret words, not 8 guesses for each challenge. Therefore, your mission will be much more challenging than that in the Wordle game.

You can make your guess by typing a 5-letter English word on your keyboard and pressing Enter to submit your guess. The guessed word will be filled in all three grids. Since the hidden word in each grid is different, your guessed word will return with separate hints from the game.

Helpful Clues For Tridle Players

The submitted word will bring you hints from the game after you press Enter:

  • If a letter in the guessed word is not contained in the hidden word of the grid, it will turn to the black color.
  • On the contrary, if a letter is a part of the hidden word and is placed correctly in the order of the guessed word, it will become green.
  • Yellow indicates that the letter is contained in the secret word, but its order in the guessed word is different from its precise place in the secret word.
